Location: Uniting Church Magnetic Island - Nelly Bay
Come and join the Magnetic Island Crafters! The group meets each week and make many items for community and charity groups such as knitted teddies to help children bravely face treatment at the Island clinic, as well as baby rugs and wraps and various crafts.
MIC also support local wildlife groups by making wallaby bags, turtle wraps and fundraising items for the Island koalas. They also pursue their own individual craft interests and share their skills with each other, and have ongoing connections and friendships with Fibers and Fabrics, Townsville.
No matter what your crafting interest is, please feel welcome to just turn up, have a chat and join our friendly community group.
