A must-do if you're visiting Magnetic Island, is the weekly Cane Toad Races. The cane toad racing has been going ahead every single week for over 40 years on Magnetic Island and is the longest running cane toad racing event in the world. The only time that it's moved from Wednesday nights is during the State of Origin three game series in June/July, then it occurs on the Friday night. Starts at 8pm. Place your bets for this fun family entertainment, with all proceeds going to the Arcadia Surf Life Saving Club.
