The Magnetic Island Film Society (MIFS)
Previously, the Magnetic Island Film Society ( MIFS) was established to bring recently-released high quality Australian and international films to the island that would not normally enjoy a run on the commercial film venues in Townsville.
Previously, the Magnetic Island Film Society ( MIFS) was established to bring recently-released high quality Australian and international films to the island that would not normally enjoy a run on the commercial film venues in Townsville.
Membership and admission:
MIFS annual membership fee was $50 for individual adults (this includes a shared membership for two "partnered" adults) and $40 as a concession rate. This entitles members to free entry to the monthly screenings, which cost non-members $10 or $8 for concession tickets. (Rates subject to review).
