2017 Great Barrier Reef Film Festival
Fri 8 - Sun 10 Sept, Magnetic Island.

It's a fun-filled weekend of film at the GBR Film Festival on picturesque Magnetic Island in tropical North Queensland.

The festival presents a range of feature, short films, documentaries and film industry talks, plus an interactive movie experience where you can dress up and have some fun!

GBRFF also offers kids and audiences a great way of enjoying film and related media through a variety of experiences and workshops including FREE kids film workshops.


Shorts By The Sea: 6.30pm
Where bringing out the big screen at a stunning outdoor venue by the sea - the old barge ramp at Geoffrey Bay, and showing a great mix of short films. A bar and food will be available on the night.


Films, Forums and Fun all day! 10am to 10pm
A great day of film industry talks, feature films, interactive films, film workshops for adults and kids plus much more!


The Game Changer Intensive with international actor and coach, Andy McPhee.
(Saving Mr Banks, Wolf Creek, Animal Kingdom, Sons of Anarchy, Neighbours, Pirate Islands and Home and Away). 6am to 6pm.

You don't have to be an actor to have a life changing experience at this retreat!
