2. Batuta Gallery
The Arcade, Picnic Bay
Open: Tues to Sun 9am to 2pm
Art and artefacts of tribal and nomadic cultures many of which no longer exist today. You will find kilims, carpets and woven art from Anatolia (Turkey) and Persia (Iran), wood carvings such as masks and bowls from Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, Asian bronzes, Indian, Japanese and Chinese antiques, Roman, medieval and Navajo jewellery, and ancient Greek and Roman coins.

6. Louver Gallery
Viv Moran runs the Louver Gallery on the corner of Dorothy and Jean Streets, in Nelly Bay, Magnetic Island. Open Thursday to Sundays from 10am to 2pm, why not drop by and pick up an island treasure, made by an island artist. For more information call Viv on 0419 797 634.

7. Magnetic Island Photography
A boutique photo gallery featuring photographic work by MaryAnne Law.

8. Mermaid Studio & Gallery Art Retreat
Julie Carpenter is a qualified artist living in Horseshoe Bay and is available for weekend classes or week-long art retreats covering both oil and acrylic painting, drawing, art as therapy and encaustics. Private tuition is also available.

10. Peter Lawson Fine Art

Principally a painter of outback scenes and historical subjects he has illustrated several books, including a book of poems by his great uncle, Henry Lawson.

11. Rhonda Stevens Atelier Trois Art Studio
A practicing and exhibiting visual artist working across the disciplines of sculpture and printmaking, Rhonda has a selection of unique works and cards for sale on display.

12. Vonnie van Bemmel Fine Art Studio
Vonnie van Bemmel is a multi-award winning painter who offers a selection of individual or group workshops - from practical workshops, self-development classes, and community workshops for kids and adults. She is also available for commissions and public art projects.
