Magnetic Island’s local tourism organisation (TOBMI) is calling for your stories about why you call our island home. The MI Island Home Competition is a chance to show off your videos or photo slide show, an audio or musical performance or any multi-media combination on the theme ‘My Island Home’, but you'll need to submit your entry by this Friday 15 November 2013.

Anyone can enter, regardless of age or address - you don’t have to live on Magnetic Island, just show others why you feel at home here.

For good examples of style and length visit the ABC Open website and check out their Video Postcards project. In fact, if your entry follows their guidelines, it might end up on ABC television, as well as TOBMI social and promotional media!
