Ready to celebrate the end of 2016 and party into 2017? Here's a full list of what's on Magnetic Island for NYE (see below for ferry and bus timetables on the night and early am):
• Fireworks At Nelly Bay Helipad (next to the marina)
Celebrate the end of 2016 and the start of 2017 with the New Year family fireworks display at 9pm on the Nelly Bay Breakwall area (near the 'Eye To The Sky' sculpture). Best viewing spots are: the boat ramp car park (off Kelly St), the northern end of Nelly Bay beach, the Magnetic Harbour Marina and the Peppers Blue On Blue deck.

Magnetic Island Bus Transport for NYE 2016-2017
White Line Service TRAVEL after midnight to 5.30am.
Magnetic Island buses will be running their normal service until midnight, with two extra buses from 8pm to 5.30am (depending on demand). A 'White Line' service for the early hours means that they will only be running the main road from Horseshoe to Picnic Bays, with the main stop at the ferry terminal. Enjoy your night! New Years Day will be the normal Sunday bus service.
