Following an island wide community survey undertaken in 2020, it was widely acknowledged that Magnetic Island needed a strategic masterplan to support and manage tourism growth. The next phase of consultation will detail the strategic direction of the Magnetic Island Tourism Masterplan, and will commence on the 28 May 2022 with a series of community, investor and industry workshops.
