A day of healing on Magnetic Island brought to you by Yoga Instructor Dani Ceccarelli, drumming guru Albert Salvador and High Priestess Kelly Joy. Start your day by catching the 9.30 passenger ferry from the Sealink Breakwater terminal. Walk or bus to Amaroo on Mandalay in the foothills of Nelly Bay.
10.30am: Moon Sequence Yoga session by Dani accessible for beginners but must be able to kneel. Take a journey through this wonderful practice that hails the new moon, on the grass in the Gazebo garden. (Mats provided or byo).
12pm: Break for lunch at the Amaroo restaurant and have a dip in the magnesium pool if you would like. (Please advise any special diet requirements).
2pm: Gather in circle for meditation, singing and dance as we call the ancient ones in to heal the spirit with Wiccan High Priestess Kelly Joy. All voice and movement is gentle and rhythmic and easy to learn. Open up the heart connection to spirit and heal the inner child whilst connecting with others for a journey into the ancient practices of the pagans at the time of the new moon.
3.30: Djembe drumming circle - a fun way to get together in rhythm to create harmony and togetherness with all participants. Facilitated by Albert and Hiro, all will be guided step by step in a fun and invigorating synergy. No musical skill is needed. (Drums provided).
4.30: Close the circle and walk back to the ferry for a 5pm departure.
