Grab your banners and head to Picnic Bay to rally against the closure of the Recreation Camp at 2pm this Sunday 18 Nov. This camp is a lifeline to children from the outback, and a crucial facility for Magnetic Island, as well as an employment base for Islanders. Spread the word! All welcome!

Key Islanders will be speaking on the day, and anyone is invited to have their say in support of retaining the camp. The Townsville Bulletin and Channel 7 will also be there. The 'Save Our Camp' group have the full support of Jenny Hill and Bob Katter, and they have also contacted other local MP's. Please come and support the cause.
