This race used to be called the Dent to Dunk Race which started in 1909. Since Cyclone Yasi's destruction on Dunk Island and Port Hinchinbrook, the race has now been relocated to Horseshoe Bay, Magnetic Island - so it's effectively the Dent to Magnetic Race. The 2012 race will be on Friday 8 June.
