The Townsville Road Runners are back for their annual Magnetic Island Run and you're invited to join in on the fun! Three runs are set by the club, but it is possible to take sections of any of the runs to create your own.
1st Run: The "Sheilas Run" (Approx. 6km)
2nd Run: The "Finally Tuned Athletes Run" (Approx. 9km)
3rd Run: The "Chariots of Fire Run" (Approx. 13km)
Run starts from the Nelly Bay Ferry Terminal at 7.30am.
NB: It is requested that you run on the paths and trails where possible and avoid the roads for your safety.
After the run there is the usual tea and coffee under the trees at Horseshoe Bay and later there will be a BBQ lunch/brunch at Arcadia near Alma Bay Park. Please support the Magnetic Island School P&C Association by staying for lunch.
Coming from Townsville? The ferry departs from the Sealink Breakwater Terminal at 6.30am and 7.05am. Remember to bring ID to receive a discounted fare.
