The Aquapella World Music Choir is celebrating its 10-year anniversary and would like to invite you to join their celebrations of this special concert in the Golf Club, Picnic Bay, on Saturday 15 November at 7pm.
For 10 years audiences have been thrilled by the unique mixture of world music a cappella that the sixty singers from Townsville and Magnetic Island bring to the stage.
In its first decade, Aquapella has achieved just about everything a community choir can with winning the ABC Classic FM Choir of the Year competition for Queensland, the Townsville Music Awards and appearing at major festivals and events like the Woodford Folk Festival.
Next year they will embark on a big European tour wooing audiences between Vienna and Rome with their diverse repertoire of international songs that inspire, speak of love and celebrate life.
One night only and not to be missed!
