Theatre On The Rock presents weekly creative and music theatre classes for kids. Classes consist of a combination of dance, song, drama, group games, storytelling, writing and creative arts.
2pm - 2:40pm: Creative Kids
- 3 to 5 yr olds
Expression and story telling through the creative and performing arts.
2:45pm - 3:25pm: Shine Time Kids
- 5 to 7 yr olds
Imagination, fun, confidence and friendship.
3:30pm - 4:30pm: Junior Music Theatre
- 7 to 8yr olds
Pay, create and perform.
4:30pm - 5:30pm: Senior Music Theatre
- 9 to 16yrs old
Creativity, courage, team work, individual expression and performance.
At: The Active Centre, Kelly St, Nelly Bay.
Day: Every Tuesday
Cost:$10 for Creative Kids and Shine Time Kids, or $12 for all other classes
Kids that do music theatre also develop the confidence to:
• Embrace and express their uniqueness
• Accept others for who they are
• Communicate clearly in front of others
• Listen wholeheartedly and develop strong focus
• Accept and apply feedback
• Turn mistakes into creative opportunities
• Collaborate and contribute to group work
• Make new friends, and feel apart of a creative family
• Improvise, create and perform
• Co-ordinate movement, words, tune and character, which activates the whole brain and body!
