New Years Eve 2018-2019 Magnetic Island

Ready to celebrate the end of 2018 and party into 2019? Here's a full list of what's on Magnetic Island for NYE (see below for ferry and bus timetables on the night and early am):
• Fireworks At Nelly Bay Helipad (next to the marina)
Celebrate the end of 2018 and the start of 2019 with the New Year family fireworks display at midnighty on the Nelly Bay Breakwall area (near the 'Eye To The Sky' sculpture). Best viewing spots are: the boat ramp car park (off Kelly St), the northern end of Nelly Bay beach, the Magnetic Harbour Marina and the Peppers Blue On Blue deck.

• Peppers Blue On Blue - Nelly Bay
Celebrate New Year's Eve in style with delicous cocktails, delectable dining and live music from Groove. Head chef Damien Reading has designed a sumptuous menu to tempt and delight your palette. Children dine from a special Kid's Menu and receive a complimentary* activity pack. Welcome in the New Year with spectacular fireworks out on the Nelly Bay headland at midnight.

It's gonna be a rocking New Years Eve at Arcadia Village Hotel this year with live music from The Verge. With a few dining choices, dinner is available from 5pm. Live music from 7.30pm. Late license to 2am. Free entry!

FREE entry, a 3 hour food and drink package is available from 9pm that includes an Aussie style BBQ, buffet, beer on tap, house wine, basic spirits and soft drinks for just $59.

This NYE PBH feature live music from Hard Wired from 8pm until after midnight. Dinner is available from the R&R Restaurant and the public bar from 5.30pm-8pm, ... and you'll be able to see the Townsville fireworks from the Picnic Bay jetty. Late license to 2am. Free entry!

If you want a 'no set menu' New Years Eve where you can order as little or as much as you choose, then spend a quieter evening at Barefoot, where you'll also receive a complimentary glass of bubbles, beer or ariva on arrival. (No entertainment - but the Marlin Bar is next door).

Magnetic Island Bus Transport for NYE 2018 - 2019
White Line Service TRAVEL after midnight to 5.30am.
Magnetic Island buses will be running their normal service until midnight, with two extra buses from 8pm to 5.30am (depending on demand). A 'White Line' service for the early hours means that they will only be running the main road from Horseshoe to Picnic Bays on request, with the main stop at the ferry terminal, so please allow for delays. Enjoy your night! New Years Day will be the normal Public Holiday bus service.
