You're invited to the Future-proofing Magnetic Island
FEEDBACK SESSIONS on Friday 1 & Sat 2 November 2019
The team from Earth Check have gone through the Future-proofing Magnetic Island survey submissions and are offering a number of Community Feedback Sessions where you can have your say.
Come along to the next round of consultation where the Project Team will present the results of the Sustainability Assessment conducted in August back to the community.
Have your say in identifying options and opportunities to reduce the island’s environmental footprint, and increase sustainability and resilience to climate change.
The options the community identifies as wanting to support, will be developed into business cases to be used in any potential future funding.
Drop-in Sessions Phase 2
Community-led options development and review will be held on:
FRIDAY 1 NOVEMBER
9.00am - 12 noon at Magnetic Island RSL, Arcadia.
1.00 - 4.00pm at Arcadia Village Hotel, Arcadia.
6.00 - 8.30pm at Amaroo on Mandalay, Nelly Bay.
SATURDAY 2 NOVEMBER
12.30 - 3.00pm at Amaroo on Saturday Mandalay, Nelly Bay.
