Would you like to join our busy wildlife care group? The Magnetic Island Fauna Care Organisation's (MIFCO) purpose is to rehabilitate injured and orphaned wildlife to a state where they can be released back into their natural environment. Everyone is invited to their new membership drive on Sunday 23rd February at the Apex Camp (opposite the old tip) in Picnic Bay at 10am. Come and learn about:
Wildlife care from experienced carers and wildlife experts.
Whats involved:
a. Opportunities for training, including through their partnership with North Qld Wildlife Care Inc.
b. Equipment needed and costs involved.
c. The incredible emotional rewards from nurturing our precious wildlife and returning them to the wild.
