Theatre On The Rock presents weekly creative and music theatre classes for kids. All classes use a combination of drama, dance, movement, song, improvisation, friendship building skills and creative thinking. No experience in Performing Arts is needed. There is a place for every type of kid, be they loud, shy, five-headed, upside down, or unicorn!
2020 Theatre on The Rock: Term 1 (9 weeks)
TUESDAYS from 4th February to 31st March 2020
2:40pm to 3:30pm: Shine Time - Ages 4 to 6
Create, imagine, and play, whilst learning to encourage one another and be confident individually! Cost: $10
3:30pm to 4:20pm: Creative Kids - Ages 6 to 8
Music theatre with a focus on fun, self confidence, kindness and creativity! Cost: $10
4:20pm to 5:20pm: Mad for Musicals - Ages 9 to 11
Get stuck into dance, song, improvisation/creative time and drama games! As a super cool experience, this class will connect with the senior group for the last 10 minutes. Cost: $12
5:10pm to 6:10pm: Super Sonic Seniors - Year 6 to year 12
Lots of craziness, acceptance, creativity and drama, with audition and performance skills thrown in! Cost: $12
6:10pm to 6:30pm (Starts Week 4)
The Super Seriously Serious Performance Team
An intense rehearsal session - see Jo for details.
6:30pm to 7pm: (Starts Week 4) Yr 9 to Yr 12
Advanced Drama Skills
See Jo for details.

Cost:$10 for Creative Kids and Shine Time Kids, or $12 for all other classes
Kids that do music theatre also develop the confidence to:

• Turn mistakes into creative opportunities

• Co-ordinate movement, words, tune and character, which activates the whole brain and body!
