On Sunday 1 September 2013 it will be 10 years since the first ferry came to Nelly Bay Harbour. To celebrate we’re inviting all artists to be part of this anniversary with prizes for 'Best In Show - Adult' and 'Best In Show - Child'.
Here’s your chance to connect with your inner-Islander. Compete for prizes with expert judges from local and regional galleries. The exhibition will open on Sunday 1 September and be on display throughout the 2013 Magnetic Island Bay Dayz Festival at the Nelly Bay terminal.
CRITERIA
Size: Maximum 800mm x 800mm.
Finish: All painting, drawing, photography, must be fully framed or mounted and be ready to hang.
For sale: All items that are available for sale agree to a 10% commission to go towards exhibition costs.
HOW TO ENTER
Cost: $10 per item per adult ($5 per child under 18).
PRIZES
Adult: 'QCCU Best In Show' is an acquisitive prize valued at $500. Child (under 18): 'Best In Show' is a $100 cash prize.
