Climb aboard and inspect the Red Baron some great charter boats, marine and water-ski displays, stalls, information and prizes all day.

FREE jumping castle and fun for the kids, plus a sausage sizzle and raffles. Heaps of prizes and giveaways to support the volunteer Coastguard.

The Townsville flotilla assist thousands of people each year in rescue operations and are desperately trying to meet the $76,000 shortfall to purchase their new vessel, due to be launched on 20th November this year.

People will have the opportunity to learn more about business’s that can help you get out on the water whether it be fishing, diving, sailing or skiing along with the opportunity to get up close and personal with The Red Baron. Organisations such as Maritime Safety, Qld Fisheries, Australian Customs, Water Police and the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority will all be on hand with displays to answer any official queries you may have about enjoying life on tropical waters.

It will be a great family day out with a sausage sizzle, cold drinks and iceblocks, Free children’s face painting and jumping castle along with marine & ski displays and the opportunity to climb on board a variety of boats. Over $5000 worth of prizes have been donated to raffle off on the day from 2pm with all monies raised being presented to Townsville’s Coast Guard division in the way of a giant cheque at 3pm.
