

There's nothing like sitting in the outdoors watching the movies under the stars. On Saturday 30 April the Magnetic Island Men's Shed presents “Last Cab To Darwin”.
Starts: 7pm
At: Horseshoe Bay Recreation Club, on the outdoor screen.
Cost: $5 adult, $2 kids, $12 for a family (2 adults + kids).
• BYO chairs (some will be available, please bring some if you can.)
• BBQ available from 5.30pm. Meals $2.50 and $5 Soft drinks available.
LAST CAB TO DARWIN: Michael Caton brings charm and dry humour to a warm-hearted road movie about Rex,a Broken Hill cabbie who takes on a bold quest when he is diagnosed with terminal cancer. On the way he picks up Tilly, a wayward Indigenous man who bounces around getting himself into trouble and Julie an English backpacker and ex-nurse.
Regular movie nights will be held on the last Saturday of each month, except in the wet season. Additional movies will be held during the Bay Dayz Festival in September 2016.
