There's nothing like sitting in the outdoors watching the movies under the stars. On Saturday 27 May the Magnetic Island Men's Shed presents La La Land.
Starts: 7pm
At: Horseshoe Bay Recreation Club, on the outdoor screen.
Cost: $5 adult, $2 kids, $12 for a family (2 adults + kids).
BYO chairs (some will be available, please bring some if you can.)
BBQ available from 5.30pm. Meals $2.50 and $5 Soft drinks available.
La La Land (PG-13 for some language)
Written and directed by Academy Award (R) nominee Damien Chazelle, LA LA LAND tells the story of Mia [Emma Stone], an aspiring actress, and Sebastian [Ryan Gosling], a dedicated jazz musician, who are struggling to make ends meet in a city known for crushing hopes and breaking hearts. Set in modern day Los Angeles, this original musical about everyday life explores the joy and pain of pursuing your dreams.
