Many of us have loved music and even can play by ear, or enjoy singing, but have never learned to read notes. If this is you, now's your chance! Reading music will open up doors to accessing more music and to hopefully playing or singing some favourite pieces.
My course uses lots of class participation, learning rhythm through the use of percussion and walking round in circles, with the feet doing the beat and hands clapping different rhythms. I use many songs you already know. It's quite hard work but fun!
By the end of the course you will be able to play simple keyboard, read rhythms and notes and sing simple unseen pieces. I use many songs you will already know.
