There's nothing like sitting in the outdoors watching the movies under the stars. On Saturday 29 December the Magnetic Island Network For Turtles presents "Finding Dory, with all proceeds going towards helping and protecting Magnetic Island's sea turtles.
Starts: 7pm
At: Horseshoe Bay Recreation Club, on the outdoor screen.
Cost: $5 adult, $2 kids, $12 for a family (2 adults + kids).
BYO chairs (some will be available, please bring some if you can.)
Soft drinks and snacks available.
Finding Dory (PG) 2016
"Finding Dory" reunites the friendly-but-forgetful blue tang fish with her loved ones, and everyone learns a few things about the true meaning of family along the way. The big-screen adventure takes moviegoers back to the extraordinary underwater world from the original film.
Dory, a wide-eyed, blue tang fish who suffers from memory loss every 10 seconds or so, somehow became separated from her parents as a child. With help from her friends Nemo and Marlin, Dory embarks on an epic adventure to find them. Her journey brings her to the Marine Life Institute, a conservatory that houses diverse ocean species. Dory now knows that her family reunion will only happen if she can save mom and dad from captivity.
