QPWS will be presenting an update about the Forts Junction Hub Upgrade Project at the MIRRA meeting on Saturday 2 November, 10am to noon at the RSL Hall in Arcadia. All Islanders are invited and encouraged to attend, and will receive and update about the project.
There has been strong interest from the Magnetic Island community and beyond, with Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) receiving a total of 41 submissions from a range of individuals and groups in relation to this project. This feedback has been extremely valuable and will now be used to inform the revision of the Forts Junction Hub project concept.
QPWS recognises and understands the importance of listening to the Magnetic Island community and that this is essential to the success of the project.
