Once again in 2019 Magnetic Island RSL will pay tribute to our fallen service men and women. The 100th Anniversary of the first Remembrance Day will be commemorated at the Magnetic Island RSL on Monday 11 November. Our commemorative service will pay tribute to the more than 330,000 Australians who served during the four years of the First World War, and all servicemen and women who have died or suffered since during war, armed conflict and peacekeeping.
For people able to attend, please gather at 10.30am for the service. Light refreshments will be available afterwards. If you are not able to join us for the service, please take the time at 11am on Monday 11 November, wherever you may be, to observe a one minute’s silence in memory of those who have fought for Australia.
Location: Magnetic Island RSL Memorial Hall
Time: Service starts at 10.30am.
All Island residents and visitors are invited to attend the ceremony.
