The theme for this year's Carbon Cuts '2' Short Film Festival is:
"Energy – to Make a Difference."

Films will be judged on the following criteria:
• The extent to which they address the theme
• Originality
• Creativity
• The likelihood that they will persuade viewers to act to make a difference in their or the community’s consumption of carbon creating ‘Energy’.
• Technical quality

Categories: Under 18 years | 18 yrs and older
Film Length: Up to seven minutes
Style: Open (moc/documentary comedy drama etc.)

Latest date for submission: Friday 5 August 2011
Total Prize Pool: $2,000. Prizes in each category including a ‘People’s Choice’ Award.
