There's nothing like sitting in the outdoors watching the movies under the stars. On Saturday 26 May the Magnetic Island Men's Shed presents "The Post”.
Starts: 7pm
At: Horseshoe Bay Recreation Club, on the outdoor screen.
Cost: $5 adult, $2 kids, $12 for a family (2 adults + kids).
• BYO chairs (some will be available, please bring some if you can.)
• BBQ available from 5.30pm. Meals $2.50 and $5 Soft drinks available.

THE POST is a thrilling drama about the unlikely partnership between the Washingto n Post’s first female publisher of a major American newspaper and her editor as they raceto expose a massive cover- up of government secrets that spanned over three decadesand four US Presidents. Staring Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks, this period setting is a fascinating story that highlights the need for a strong media and how it should serve the people and not the government. The film was nominated for Best Picture and best actress (for Streep) at the 90th Academy Awards, and also received six nominations at the 75th Golden Globe Awards.
Regular movie nights are held on the last Saturday of each month, except in the wet season.
